Last month, Softbank entered talks with startup Zume, offering a blockbuster investment of anywhere from $500 million to $700 million. Zume, a fully automated pizza delivery service, plans to transform the industry with their patent for delivery trucks capable of cooking food while en route to customers. And Zume isn’t alone in their quest for fast food optimization. Pizza Hut and Dominoes have experimented with robots as well.
